The Clachan
Once known as "The Bricklayer's", this pub served as a local for the firemen of Station No. 13 and the police officers of the Special Constable Reserve in King Street (now Kingly Street). It was also once owned by the family-run department store "Liberty". Built in 1898, much of its charming and original Victoriana survives today, like some of the rich wood carving and structural ironwork. Thankfully, plans to turn it into a warehouse failed, which means you can still enjoy a great pint here today.
Fabulous Fish & Chips
We take immense pride in our fish and chips, a longstanding British favourite. That's why all our of fish are battered on site and coated in deliciously crisp traditional beer batter.
