The Three Greyhounds
The pub's name derives from the dogs that were used to hunt hares here, when Soho was an open hunting ground. The name "Three Greyhounds" was first recorded at this site in 1927, although licensed premises have existed here since 1847. Prior to this date, No. 25 Greek Street was home to various shops as well as an ironmonger's. Greek Street itself dates back to the 1670s and is named after the Greek Church, which stood in Hog Lane. Deep in the heart of London's theatreland, this pub is as popular with today's theatregoers and actors as it has always been.
Pie House
Pies are a great British tradition we are proud to honour. We source ours from traditional master pie makers, Dunkley's of Northamptonshire.
